  • Write it as 24 digits by adding eight zeros at the end, not the start: 11773016-11111018 becomes 117730161111101800000000. Then add HU and the check digits: HU42 1177 3016 1111 1018 0000 0000. Each eight-digit block ends with its own 9-7-3-1 check digit, which the checker tests.
