  • The part after the slash, 0800, is the bank code; 19 is the prefix (předčíslí) and 2000145399 the account number. Pad the prefix to six digits and the number to ten, then add CZ and the check digits: CZ65 0800 0000 1920 0014 5399. The Czech National Bank also requires the prefix and the number to pass a modulo 11 test, which the checker runs.

  • Yes. The Czech Republic is an EU member state, so it is in SEPA: euro payments to a Czech IBAN can go by SEPA credit transfer. SEPA covers euro payments only, so a payment in Czech koruna goes outside it.

  • With the ISO 7064 mod 97-10 algorithm. The bank code (kód banky), prefix (předčíslí) and account number (číslo účtu) and the country code CZ are turned into digits, and the two check digits are chosen so the whole number leaves a remainder of 1 when divided by 97.
