A SEPA QR code, also called an EPC QR code or GiroCode, carries the payee's name, IBAN, amount and reference, so the payer's bank app fills in the transfer when it reads it. Enter the details to make one, as SVG or PNG, in your browser.
The code follows the European Payments Council's EPC069-12 guidelines: version 002, UTF-8, a SEPA credit transfer in euros, at most 331 bytes, at error correction level M.
Print the same details as text beside the code, so the payer can check what they scan. The code is made in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
The IBAN is checked the way the IBAN calculator checks it: country, length and check digits.
Every SEPA QR code holds the same short list of lines, in a fixed order. These are the limits EPC069-12 sets, and the ones this generator enforces.
A Holyheld EUR account receives SEPA transfers; pricing has the details. For references that tie a payment to an invoice, read how to receive USD and EUR business payments.

A QR code holding the details of a SEPA credit transfer: the payee's name and IBAN, and optionally the BIC, the amount and a reference. The European Payments Council defines it in EPC069-12, and in Germany it is known as GiroCode. A bank app that reads it fills in the transfer when the payer scans it.
No. The EPC guidelines leave it to each bank whether its app reads these codes. Print the payee, IBAN, amount and reference as text beside the code, so a payer whose app can't scan it can type them in.
Not when the payee's bank is in the EEA: version 002 of the format makes the BIC optional there. The guidelines keep it mandatory for banks outside the EEA, such as in Switzerland or the United Kingdom, so the generator asks for it for those IBANs.
A creditor reference is a structured reference under ISO 11649, starting with RF and two check digits, up to 35 characters; the guidelines say the payer should not change it. Remittance text is free text of up to 140 characters, such as an invoice number. A SEPA QR code carries one or the other, not both.
No. The code is made in your browser, and the SVG and PNG files are created on your device. Nothing you type leaves the page.
