To move USDC to an IBAN, send it on a network your provider supports, convert it to EUR or USD, and pay the money out by SEPA or wire. With Holyheld Business, off-ramp transfers cost 0.5%, outgoing SEPA transfers cost €0 and wires cost $10.
Best for
- A company paid in USDC that settles its costs in EUR by SEPA.
- Moving a stablecoin balance into USD to pay a supplier by wire.
- A finance team that needs the transaction hash and the bank reference on one record.
- Send the USDC Use the deposit address and network named in your account.
- Convert to EUR or USD Review the quote, the 0.5% fee and the amount you receive.
- Pay out to the IBAN Send by SEPA or wire, and track it to the account credit.
Before you start
- The asset and network. For example, USDC on Base. Both must be supported for your transaction.
- The wallet you send from. A self-custody wallet or an account at an exchange.
- The destination account. The IBAN, the account holder's name and the currency it receives.
- The reference. The invoice number or purpose the transfer settles.
Check the asset and the network together
Circle issues USDC natively on many networks and publishes the official contract address for each, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and Solana (Circle). Circle also distinguishes native USDC from bridged USDC: a service that accepts one does not automatically accept the other.
Holyheld works with supported networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and Solana. Use the deposit instructions in your account, and confirm the asset and network combination before sending.
Send the USDC
Copy the deposit address from your account and paste it into your wallet. Never retype it, and never copy it from your transaction history, where attackers plant look-alike addresses. Researchers counted 270 million of these address-poisoning attempts against 17 million victims, with at least $83.8 million lost (USENIX Security 2025).
For a first payment from a new wallet, send a small test amount before the full one. Keep the transaction hash: it is the onchain reference for the payment.
Convert to EUR or USD
Once the USDC arrives, review the quote: the asset, the amount, the fiat amount you will receive and the fees. Off-ramp transfers cost 0.5% on the Business membership.
Swapping between stablecoins costs 0%. If you hold a different stablecoin than the one your route needs, swap it first.
Pay out to the IBAN
Send EUR to an IBAN by SEPA; outgoing SEPA transfers cost €0 on the Business membership. For USD, or for a destination outside SEPA, send a wire. Wires cost $10, and international wires are sent as OUR, so the recipient receives the full amount.
The blockchain confirmation and the bank credit are separate events. A fast onchain transfer does not set the bank arrival time, so check the route before committing to a deadline. To check an IBAN's format before you pay, use the free IBAN calculator.

Two worked examples:
- 10,000 USDC to a EUR IBAN: 50 USDC in off-ramp fees and €0 for the SEPA transfer, plus the network fee. The EUR amount depends on the conversion quote at the time.
- 10,000 USDC to a USD account by wire: 50 USDC in off-ramp fees and $10 for the wire.
Membership is CHF 50 a month or CHF 500 a year, excluding VAT; see Business pricing.
When this route doesn't fit
- The asset or network isn't supported for your transaction. Swap it, or move it to a supported combination, before you send.
- The money must arrive on a set day. Onchain speed doesn't set the bank arrival time; discuss the payment with your concierge first.
- The supplier wants stablecoins. Pay them directly instead: read How to pay suppliers in stablecoins.
Common questions
How much does it cost to off-ramp USDC to an IBAN?
On the Business membership, 0.5% for the off-ramp and €0 for the SEPA transfer, or $10 if you send a wire, plus the network fee for sending from your wallet.
What happens if I send USDC on the wrong network?
Funds sent on a network the deposit instructions don't name may not arrive. Contact your concierge with the transaction hash.
Can I send from an exchange account instead of my own wallet?
Yes, as long as the exchange sends the asset on the network named in your deposit instructions.
