Get paid by invoice in USDC or EURC

On this page

To get paid in USDC or EURC, issue the invoice in that currency from Holyheld and send your customer its pay link: they open it, pay from their wallet or by scanning a QR code, and the invoice shows the payment as it arrives. The payer needs no Holyheld account, and once the payment arrives you can convert it to USD or EUR through the off-ramp.

Best for

  • A company billing customers who hold USDC or EURC.
  • A finance team that wants each stablecoin payment matched to its invoice, without chasing transaction hashes.
  • Repeat billing, such as a monthly retainer paid in USDC.

Create the invoice

  1. Choose who you are billing. Select a saved customer or add a new one.
  2. Fill in the details. A number is reserved from your prefix as soon as you start, and can't be used twice. Add items yourself or from your catalog, and set the currency to USDC or EURC, the dates, any discount, the tax percent and a memo.
  3. Choose where it is paid. A USDC or EURC invoice is paid into one of your wallets, and its details are printed on the invoice.
  4. Send it. Send Invoice emails it with the PDF attached, or Save as Draft keeps it unsent. An invoice dated in the future goes out on its issue date.

The pay link is on the invoice, ready to copy and send with it.

What your customer sees

The pay page shows the invoice number, the issue and due dates and the amount due. The customer picks a network, then either connects a wallet or sends the amount manually. A payment made through a connected wallet carries the invoice's reference, so it is matched to the invoice. On Solana, the QR code fills in the amount and the reference too.

Before a manual transfer, the page warns that another token, or the same token on another network, can be lost. If a payment may already have left the payer's wallet, the page says so before it offers to pay again.

What you see

The invoice shows a Crypto payment block with the network, token and address, what has been received and what is left to pay, and each transfer as it is detected and credited. You get a notification when a payment for an invoice is detected.

A transaction hash the payer pastes is kept as a note on the invoice. It doesn't mark the invoice paid; only the payment itself does.

Follow up and repeat

  • Statuses. Draft, Scheduled, Unpaid, Overdue, Paid or Voided, with the total outstanding above the list.
  • Reminders. Remind emails the customer a payment reminder, once a day at most.
  • Repeat billing. Repeat this invoice issues a new one every so many days, weeks, months or years, until a date, after a number of invoices, or with no end.

In Accounting, the accrual basis books payments linked to invoices against receivables, and each settled payment becomes a record you categorise and export for your books.

Common questions

Does my customer need a Holyheld account to pay a USDC invoice?

No. They open the pay link and pay from their own wallet, or send the amount to the address shown.

Which networks can my customer pay on?

The network named on the invoice comes first, and the amount is the same on each network offered. Holyheld works with supported networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and Solana.

What happens if the customer pays only part of the invoice?

The pay page shows what is left to pay, and the invoice's Crypto payment block shows what has been received and what is still owed.

Does a transaction hash from the customer mark the invoice paid?

No. A pasted hash is kept as a note on the invoice. Only the payment itself, once detected and credited, marks the invoice paid.

Can I invoice in EURC as well as USDC?

Yes. EURC invoices come with a pay link, the same as USDC invoices.
