Stablecoins: a separate wallet, or the same account

Payoneer offers USDC and USDT in a stablecoin wallet that a partner provides and operates, separate from the Payoneer balance. Its help centre describes receiving from and sending to outside wallets on Solana, Base, Polygon, Ethereum and Tron, buying USDC with the USD balance, and selling to a bank account. The features are marked beta, the wallet is open to customers from seven countries, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA, and the partner sets fees that Payoneer doesn’t publish.

Holyheld holds stablecoins in the same account as the named USD and EUR accounts. Off-ramp transfers turn them into USD or EUR, on-ramp transfers do the reverse, and swaps exchange one stablecoin for another.

Holyheld works with USDC on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Avalanche and Solana, and with EURC on Ethereum, Base and Solana. Companies outside the EEA can also use USDT, PYUSD and USDG.

Which one fits

Payoneer fits

  • A company paid by marketplaces and freelance platforms, which Payoneer prices on their own row.
  • A company with clients in Asia-Pacific, the Gulf or Latin America, with local receiving details in JPY, SGD, HKD, AED, MXN, BRL, KRW and IDR.
  • A company paying long lists of contractors, in batches of up to 1,000.

Holyheld fits

  • A company paid in USDC or EURC that settles in USD or EUR from one account.
  • A company that sends wires so the recipient receives the full amount.

Common questions

  • Not in its standard pricing. It charges a 29.95 USD annual account fee when the account receives less than 6,000 USD in 12 months, though some of its help pages give 2,000 USD, and some account types in some regions must take a 39 USD-a-year Annual Plan.

  • Only through a separate wallet that a partner runs, in beta, for USDC and USDT on Solana, Base, Polygon, Ethereum and Tron. It is open to customers from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA, and Payoneer doesn’t publish its fees.

  • The EUR details take SEPA and SEPA Instant, and one Payoneer guide says they come with “an IBAN or equivalent”. No Payoneer page says whose name the details are in.

  • Nothing into a receiving account in your local currency, and 1% (at least 1 USD) into one in another currency. A client paying by card is charged up to 3.99% plus 0.49 USD.

  • 0.5% to move money between your own currency balances. Bank payments that involve a conversion are priced at 1.2% to 4%.

  • Not normally. Payoneer’s Prohibited Transaction List includes virtual and cryptocurrencies and money services businesses, though it says it may pre-approve some listed activities.

  • Yes, USDC and EURC, held, swapped and converted in the account. Companies outside the EEA can also use USDT, PYUSD and USDG.

Sources and limits

Prices change, and Payoneer’s differ by region and account type. Payoneer’s figures are its standard prices, checked on 28 October 2026; Holyheld’s fees are on its pricing page.

Payoneer’s pages disagree. The annual fee applies under 6,000 USD on its pricing page and under 2,000 USD on some help pages, and the Premium upgrade is listed at 60 USD and at 39.9 USD.
