Airwallex fits a company that receives money in many markets and converts often between major currencies, with local receiving details in more than 20 currencies and exchange at 0.5% above the interbank rate. Holyheld Business fits a company that is paid in stablecoins: it receives, holds and converts USDC and EURC in the same account as its named USD and EUR accounts, where Airwallex offers only USDC payouts in early access.
Stablecoins
Airwallex pays out USDC on Ethereum in early access, through its API. Holyheld receives, holds and converts USDC and EURC in the account.
Getting paid
Send a customer a payment link and receive USDC or EURC at your own addresses. No Airwallex page offers receiving stablecoins.
Support
One person who knows your account, in in-app chat, for every member rather than on a custom plan.

Airwallex’s developer docs list one stablecoin route: payouts of USDC on Ethereum, paid from a USD balance. It is in early access, works through the API only, not the web app, and an account manager has to switch it on and set its fees. No official page says an Airwallex account can receive, hold or convert stablecoins, and a help article says Airwallex can’t facilitate crypto transactions.
Holyheld holds stablecoins in the account. Off-ramp transfers turn them into USD or EUR when you choose, on-ramp transfers do the reverse, and swaps exchange one stablecoin for another.
Holyheld works with USDC on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Avalanche and Solana, and with EURC on Ethereum, Base and Solana. Companies outside the EEA can also use USDT, PYUSD and USDG.
Explore is £19 a month, or £0 in a month the business deposits or holds at least £10,000. Grow is £49 a month, and Accelerate is priced on request. Prices exclude VAT, are charged per legal entity, and no annual price is published.
Yes. EUR Global Accounts come with an IBAN, and Airwallex says accounts are created in the business’s name. Its German, Dutch and Estonian EUR accounts receive SEPA, SEPA Instant and TARGET2 payments, but not SWIFT.
Yes. A SWIFT OUR transfer costs £20, and the sender pays the intermediary banks’ fees. A shared-fee (SHA) transfer costs £10, and the recipient may receive less.
0.5% above the interbank rate for AUD, USD, HKD, CNY, JPY, EUR, GBP, CAD, CHF, NZD and SGD, and 1% for every other currency. Locking a rate through the API or booking a future conversion costs extra.
Only as payouts. Airwallex can pay out USDC on Ethereum from a USD balance, in early access, through its API, once an account manager turns it on. No official page says the account can receive, hold or convert stablecoins, and a help article says crypto transactions aren’t facilitated.
Not by default. Airwallex’s UK Acceptable Use Policy lists crypto, crypto-asset and stablecoin businesses as restricted activities that need its approval.
Yes. Each account has receiving addresses for USDC on seven networks and EURC on three, and companies outside the EEA can also receive USDT, PYUSD and USDG.
Prices change, and Airwallex’s differ by country. Airwallex’s figures are its UK prices, checked on 28 October 2026; Holyheld’s fees are on its pricing page.
Airwallex’s pages disagree on crypto. A help article says it can’t facilitate crypto transactions, its UK Acceptable Use Policy lets crypto businesses apply for approval, and its developer docs offer USDC payouts.
Holyheld is invite only. Each application is reviewed, and companies whose needs Holyheld can support are invited.
Not everything is compared. Cards, spend management, bill pay and payment acceptance are outside this page.
